Canberra was the first location to launch (designed by Fender Katsalidis, MONA & Australia 108) on August 19, adding another 280 luxury rooms to the Meriton Suites portfolio. Liverpool’s next, with 229 luxury rooms completed and open for guests from September 23.
Direct involvement in:
- Facade design for Building Envelope
- Focus on Facade design of Podium of GF and L1 (from scratch) 7m high facade + Steel Beam and Post Design
- Coordination of including a revolving door on GF
- Integration of Signage within the facade panels creating extra bracing and Calcs to be included
- Facade design of 6.5m high panels on L15/16 - Penthouse section.
- Fin Design to the East of the Building on Allara st.
- Design of balcony Sliding doors + Handle Selection
- Selection of Powder-coating colour of for Aluminium for Podium and Tower
- Reviewing the drawings internally + with external Facade engineers
- Weekly Design Meetings with Meriton Design Team + Meriton Site Team + Fender Katsalidis
- Site Visits + Head office Meetings
- Fabrication Checks including glass checks
- Follow up with Site installers + Providing them relevant documentation that guides them through the proper grid installation
